got mine installed! i like it, sounds deeper and pulls harder, the way everyone praises it i expected more from it, but its definitely noticeable, ill update if it changes and gets even better, also worth noting that i have an auto.

i found myself pressing the gas less to achieve driving speeds, gas saver maybe?

oh i forgot, what is this for? it came in the bag with my bolts but idk what its for..

EDIT: emailed p2r, they said its not required for our cars.

Just did this install. Jesus Christ I hated it.

I'm sure it was mentioned, but you'd get a lot more clearance I'd you removes your windshield cowl.

As for performance..very minimal, if nothing. It's worth noting that I AM using the stock airbox with a K&N drop in filter.

It WILL fit, but you're gonna have to force things back into the holes, as everything is going to be pushed to the right.

I was driving around..and no whistle, no growl and maybe a little better throttle response. Maybe.

I did notice a deeper growl when I was listening carefully around 2-3k RPM.

Disconnect your stock snorkel to your airbox and add another 3" hole in your airbox next your snorkel hole to let more air in. This will give you a louder growl and more top end power. I have the Magnaflow exhaust and the spacer added more torque that I lost with the bigger diameter exhaust.

Anyone manage to put two gaskets around the TBS? I see a lot of Si's doing it, however, ours has a notch sticking up from the engine between the engine and the TBS (where the original orange gasket was). Are R18s not suppose to have 2 aftermarket gaskets? or am I suppose to cut a small hole out of the side of the gasket to allow the new gasket to fit. Chime in if you have 2 gaskets! :D

installed it yesterday on a stock airbox with K&N drop in..
putting the box back it was verry tight cause spacer shifted everything. i got 2 out of the 3 bolts in the box.
little better throttle response.. thats about it.

I got a check fuel cap msg earlier today. Been driving the car all day and it hasnt re appeared. i wonder why? anyone with check fuel cap out here that gets the message all the time or just once?

that will happen. only thing to do is get flashpro and remove the code. flashpro is worth every penny.

Sorry for taking a bit to answer. Well if you havent installed it yet follow my guide but just to avoid taking it of later I'd also change the OEM o-ring gasket part number 17107-RNA-A01 You can order it but i just picked up mine at the dealership wasnt too expensive.

The Million Dollar Question lol

To be honest, it was an impulse buy, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. I was a huge skeptic...I didn't think that it would do jack diddly. I did notice that immidiately after install, the intake sounded deeper, and the car seems to accelerate harder 1500-4k or so. I also believe throttle response was increased.

I am not the only one however, many have reported that they have felt increases, although nobody has done a dyno yet (I would if I had time).
was just going to ask you this... thanks... just ordered me one hopefully it increases throttle response...
