Haven't visited my thread in awhile. Thanks to all of you who have thanked me, its nice to have your help appreciated.

And to the one who wanted to know how do you know if you have a leak? You will throw some type of CEL because the engine will realize its getting unmetered air and running lean/rich

how come corsport says it does not have a 1/8 npt port in the description?
What is the white plastic 1/8 npt plug for, did I forget something?

just installed the spacer..not a hard install. feels good but i dont here this growl or whistle people have been mentioning. I have an injen cai and it sounds the same. no noticeable differences.
:yeahthat:

anyone installed this with a CAI?? Did everything fir properly? I have a fujita one
My ***** cai actually fits better and is no longer rubbing on the battery shield
(I made sure intake tubes lined up and did not had a gap)

Though as a caveat, I also have an Injen CAI and it's a very tight fit, though it DOES fit. The rubber mount in the engine bay is leaning pretty far haha.
the rubber mount is attached to a bracket, loosen the bracket up swing it right for a better fit

I have a question: I have the spacer sitting here on the floor waiting to be installed. I have one gasket. In some of the threads I have been reading they say make sure to get 2 gaskets. I have the one from P2R. Do I need to order another one from Honda or is one fine? This is what has been holding up the install. In the OP's pic I can see 2 gasket tabs. Please let me know!

Just a little note that might save someone some trouble. When I was putting the new bolts in I heard something fall into the engine bay. What I found was that there are two black metal pieces on either side of the intake manifold hookup that are not secured to anything and can come off. They are number 11 in this picture

Enlarged

So just be careful not to lose them as they fit under the intake manifold bolt holes to allow the bolts to thread tight!

the image is not working, does anyone know what is being talked about? Im going to do this on the weekend and am now jsut a bit worried.

thanks
