Has anyone done this, is it even possible?
I am in alabama...I see you are from canada..How is the weather up there? Is is still cold...? I am sure you have heard all of the cliches about alabama and the south...some of them are true...some of them..far from the truth.
I understand that part, thank you. However, I have no wires to tap the PAC interface into because I need the pins to mod the harness on the steering column, which is what I was asking for in my posts :wavey:Go to homedepot and look for 18-22 ga "Tap" connectors (most call it t-tap connectors). No need to splice wires with those.
Black wire on the PAC connector brown and gray stripped wire, White will go to the pink and brown stripped wire.
come again? You don't know which wire goes where on the pac harness? or do you want a male pin to hook up to the stock plug?I understand that part, thank you. However, I have no wires to tap the PAC interface into because I need the pins to mod the harness on the steering column, which is what I was asking for in my posts :wavey:
oh i get it now lolI installed an Si steering wheel with audio controls in an LX sedan. Because there were no stock audio controls, there are no brown/pink wires that lead from the steering column to the stereo. I need to buy someone's remaining original cruise control wiring harness so that I can remove and use 2 wiring pins in my steering column harness so that I have wires to connect to the PAC unit. So, yes, I need the male pins to connect to the stock plug at the steering column. Thanks.
I doubt it, but why risk it? The worst that could happen is severe personal injury (or death) and a few hundred bucks for a new airbag...Can someone answer this question? If i do not remove the battery negative and i just pull out yellow and black connector from airbag will it cause it to burst open? thanks.
