Its the thing that adjusts the wiper int time.. i dont have it on my Lx and it would be nice to have it..

thanks for the quick reply.. will be doing this over the weekend.. one more thing, i noticed that on my lx it doesn't have the wiper int ring.. i also wanted to replace it while I'm at it. do you think if i just replace it, will it work?

To upgrade to the EX/Si variable delay you would need a single wire ran from the fusebox/MICU unit to the new wiper switch.

Just add the two wires. I'd say the cheapest would be the forum classifieds or eBay.

not sure what the clockspring contains but you should need to still add the 2 pins to the two harnesses, one on the top of the steering wheel and one behind the radio.

I'm also looking into doing this within the month. I saw on pg 10 that we need these pins. are these pins easily accessible? Where can I get them?

when you buy the new controls, you will harvest the pins from the old cruise controls. you will need to pry them out.. it wasn't too easy btu it wasn't that hard either.

to clarify, you will need 4. 2 per harness. one of the harnesses is behind the radio and the other is behind the steering wheel under the little cover.

However, I just looked at the pics again and I need to clarify my earlier post.

When I was talking about the 2 pins, I was actually referring to the wiring harness (as the OP called it) that is in pic 17 (3rd Last pic). Where can I get that?

the weird red plug things? those aren't needed. you just need to solder them together.
