Not sure though.. i would just get the 09-11 one to be sure. I do know that the 3 spoke design and the 2 spoke design cruise control and volume control modules are not interchangable. Just swap out the wheel completely. I had a hybrid which had a two spoke design, but i got a 07 si leather with 3 spoke design. fit like a glove.

does the trim piece remove after you remove the 4 screws>? it seems like imma going to have to unscrew all the screws from the back

just finished th install. Went very nice except for the 4 pins. Spent half an hour taking apart the old plug that holds the 4 pins. Anyone attempting this DIY, i have one tip. When you are inserting the pins into the stock plug, make sure you remove the bottom plastic piece of the plug. Without this step, the pins will not fully insert into the plug. On the grey plug, you have to loosen the black piece on the bottom

With the stock radio, once you do this you can still only control the volume of a iPod and change the track on a CD correct?

That's correct. Once installed, you will either get Preset UP/DOWN (radio) or Change track UP/DOWN CDs/IPOD/etc... you cannot have both

yes, tha'ts the only flaw , but it's pretty good otherwise.!

i think youre confusing programming a pac-swi for a aftermarket headunit and using the controls with a stock headunit.

Stock the controls will change presets, and tracks, no ipod control on aux just volume

if you are hooking up the controls to a aftermarket headunit like a pioneer avic or alpine you have to use a third party interface like the pac-swi and it cant be programed to be able to both change presets on the radio and cd/ipod tracks

What format do you have them in currently? Handbrake is a good all around tool. Might take a bit of learning but it's worth it.

hey guys. planning on doing this and hooking up to an aftermarket at the same time. anything different I need to do or should i install the audio controls first, then program the module with the aftermarket? any help would be appreciated.

for simplicity id suggest installing them with the stock head unit first that way you know the controls work before you try and program them and have to troubleshoot a situation no one has done before

I use the Axxess unit and it didn't even need to program since it automatically uses the same factory functions on my Kenwood X995. No resistor and very easy to install too.

i get it from where ur coming. Plz give me the allowance of being a newbie n writing the whole DIY using my cell phone hence the many spellings n the sequence being out of order. it was primarily written keeping in mind the majority of Pakistanis who would be reading/benefitting it.furthermore im a non techy sort of guy who couldnt even solder 2 wires before i tried activating the cruise and audios which were never done before on a Pakistani 8th Gen.8thCivic.com - 8th Generation Honda Civic Forum is the mother site of all 8th Gens. I learnt nearly 80% of what all i know from u guys here who have been so helpful n would like to thank you all. Many people have now done the cruise n audio controls due to my DIYs n it gives me pleasure to say that the members at 8thCivic.com - 8th Generation Honda Civic Forum and www.eighthgencivicclub.com have a great contribution to the project ! Anyhow ill try to answer any query from thee little knowledge i have! Cheers

i'd suggest rewriting it. on a computer, new thread, in order on here. Least your pictures and insight could help? Assuming the wiring for the US versions are the same.
