for the spring i'm debating on either 17" or 18" mb battles. if any of you could post pictures of your setup (preferably a sedan) on either 17" or 18" mb battles. if you could also post your wheels specs and what size tire you used. thanks! :wheee:

oh man. i like those low offsets on the battles because of the concave. anyone have pictures of 17x9.5 +30 or 18x8 +30?? i want to see how much concaveness those sizes have.

here are mine ... 17x9 +30, i didnt want to go with anything crazy, and my tires are Falken 912's 215/40/17 oh and i rolled all 4 fenders as well. i know pics arent the best but its all i got for right now.

K-sport Gt coilovers ... but ive been playing with the idea of getting the buddyclub's but idk

yesss i agree! you got me sold. going to with 17x9 +30. :wheee: i like the ride height as well. i don't think my sideskirts will get destroyed at that height. any more pictures of this setup? or anyone else seen this setup but on a sedan?
unfortunately no, the pics that are posted above are the only ones i have right now, ive been pretty busy lately and havent had time to go take pics with a bad ass camera yet. but as soon as i do ill post them here as well.

awesome thanks! how do you like the falkens? because I'm going to need to get tires too for spring

to be honest i couldnt be happier with the falken's originally i was going to go with a set of hankook's (225/45/17). i figured that the 225 would be a mild stretch on a 9" rim. i asked the guys in the dumped/ negative camber thread and all of them were telling me to get the falken 912 in a 215/40/17, and i am sooo happy that i ended up getting the falken's if you want a mild stretch i would recommend getting the falkens in 215/40/17 ... their just that good of a tire and awesome and easy to stretch.

awesome! thanks for the info! how's the camber wear on them? yeah a mild stretch is exactly what I'm going for and not ridiculous camber right now. so all this info is spot on, thanks!

the car hanldes find .. but then again i just use it for daily driving so i really dont take it on the track or go auto crossing in the streets lol. as far as rubbing the only rubbing im getting is on the rear driver side wheel and thats when i take a sharpe turn, but i also still need to get my car aligned. yes all 4 fenders are rolled not pulled or anything else just rolled. and as far as your setup you should be fine with just the coilovers, but thats if you want something mild like my setup, i also still have to install my buddyclub rear camber arms, but honestly im liking the way my stock camber arms are setting my wheels at right now so idk if i want to install them and give the rear a little more camber or just sell the arms (which are still brand new) but if you want a wild setup, then yes get camber arms and the the camber bolts.
daily driving is all id be using it for. so that is great to hear. yeah my camber arms are already on. but wow thanks for all this helpful info. i was looking into advan rz in 17x9 + 30 also but ive been a sucker for battles since i had my rx8. now just waiting on those pictures.

oh and also how's the handling? any rubbing issues while driving or when turning? your fenders are just rolled right? here's my suspension set up for spring; Skunk2 rear camber arms, Ingalls front camber bolts, and dropped on ksport coilovers

ive heard the camber wear is pretty decent ... the guys that have been running the falkens are going on about year and a couple of months that seems the be the average. personally i cant say anything as i just install the wheels 2 weeks ago

Been debating battles vs the 572, looking for some decent wheels to hold me over until I can afford rgii. I hate my hfps I've been riding on. Only thing with the MB's is I wish they made em in 17x9 e35. Love the concave esp on iivetc's ride, just don't feel like messing with the fenders rights now.

hey vader, are you having any rubbing issues with these and do you think it's hundred percent necessary to roll the fenders with the 17x9 +30?

how much camber are you running?

I can get a great deal on a brand new set of the battles in that size for my sedan and trying to figure out if i should pull the trigger on them or the rpf1's.

any info would be great and any other pics would be awesome as well

thanks in advance!!
