Moton does have 4 ways for our car. They've been out almost as long as the new civics have been around. Thing is, they aren't coil overs, just the dampers. You still need to buy springs, pearches, top hats, etc. If I had the money for motons, I'd get them for my dd civic. Motons are sooo, good, you could DD them with any spring rate you wanted.

Thanks for the clairification Paul. I went to their site and they didn't have part numbers listed for their Double, Triple or 4-Way adjustable dampers for the 2006+ Civic.

Those 4-Way Adjustable dampers sound bad ass, at a hefty price tag I assume, but the ability to run high spring rates for DD would be great and you just adjust the damper accordingly.

they make triple dampers - but as Paul said, its not a "kit", you will have to piece it together yourself.

the civic Si's that have been racing under the canada teams are all using Moton triples ( motorsport dampers, not clubsports). The teams solo2eg and Moose have worked with both ran them i believe.

I daily drive my moton clubsports with 550lb springs with no issue, and wouldn't hesitate going with higher spring rates if i had the money.. haha.

Most of the time though, unless a vendor pieces together a kit - moton dampers are just that, you have to buy perches, springs, camber plates etc separate.

Ya I am aware of dampers only, but does anyone make aftermarket perches, camber plates? I haven't seen any. We just installed KW coilovers and my friends STI and he bought them as a "kit" from RCE. So nobody does that for 8th gen?

not for the 8th gens. You'd have to get/find camber plates and run the correct upper spring perch for those, which have the correct size for the moton shaft. The dampers will come with the lower perch, just run a 60mm spring.

for camber plates you need a 22/18T/14 upper perch.

just FYI
Clubsports (2way) will be $4000
Motorsport (3way) will be $7000
Motorsport (4way) will be $9000 for the dampers only..

unless you have telemetry and datalogging you won't be able to set up 4-way properly..

i'd add another 2k on top at least for hardware and springs etc..

Oh, most definately. Unless you're sponsored, have alot of funds, and have a dedicated track car, this is well beyond what anyone wants as a DD.

People complain about $650 KONI rebound only adjustable, imagine a set-up of such above?! :rotfl:

I don't believe Ohlins or Moton has an application for our car. I am sure you could if you wanted to spend 10K.

If you want performance call Redshift Motorsports and get a set of custom KONI D/A coilovers choosing your spring rates. You can either use Swift or Eibach 2.5" I.D. coilover race springs and have your choice of spring rates.

Only reason I didn't get the coilover version of KONI/ Swift was because I did not want to do the required maintenence every spring as NY has harsh winters with sand and salt.

You are preaching to the quire about suspension performance on here. Nobody wants to hear it, but a select few. I am sure you read my thread Stickied above. You gotta speak to the professionals like I did to get any real insight.
That's what I did and I should be getting the KONI/Redshift coilovers sent out this week......

Yeah i been running my Redshift/Koni/eibach setup for over 2yrs with nothing but good times weaving in and out and cornering around stuff on daily basis. However i definitly can use a stiffer spring i would like to swap my springs out eventually for a custom set or like xtreme uses linear hfp springs.
