CT-Engineering Supercharger Aftercooler
1. True bolt on, comes with all parts needed to install. Only cutting/modifying of the car is a small piece of the plastic radiator shroud for a hose to run through.
2. Bell Intercooler core- Billet aluminum CNC machined end tanks - Removable core - o-ring sealed. Pressure tested prior to shipping.
3. Front mount heat exchanger custom made in USA for IMT to fit the SI. Internally baffled tank for maximum cooling. Pressure tested at factory. 3/4" lines. Mounts to existing points and does not rub/touch anything. All mounts are in rubber just like OEM.
4. Kit comes with Bosch Pump, wiring harness including pump relay and fuse
5. Fill reservoir and mount included. (Mounts in location of OEM air box.)
6. Must use IMT inlet. Will NOT work with CTE inlet.
*Preliminary Performance Data:
1. 20 deg IAT over ambient during cruse vs. 40-50 deg without it
2. 60 deg IAT over ambient during 3rd gear pull vs. 100 without it.
3. 87 deg IAT over ambient during 4th gear pull vs. 128 without it.
*NO METH MIXED IN TO SKEW THE DATA. Temperature data from T1 sensor on open roads on 2 different Civic SI's with same pulley ratios and CAI.
2 more kits will be installed shortly to continue testing to prove reliability, and gather more performance data.
This is what we are going to call Stage 1. We will be working on Stage 2, which will be a thicker core and a blower spacer. It will however require modification to the A/C line do to the increase in blower height.
