Inch past fender, you'd need low offset, spacers and wide wheels (or any combo of those). Something like 9.5" wheels and 25 offset. I wouldn't recommend it though, as if you're an inch past it'll...

1) Mess up your wheel bearings
2) Throw off suspension geometry
3) Cause tramlining
4) Get a lot more steering feedback
5) Get more torque steer
6) Rub on your fenders like no tomorrow.

High offset sets wheels further in the fender. Low offset makes them stick out.

 

you could run wheels with a negative offset or use really long studs and thick wheel spacers... but why would you want to do that??

I've seen this on other cars in cali its a west coast style. I think it definitely looks good if it is done properly, that is why i asked.. It is my car that has good MPG that is what its for.. I don't plan on using it for racing or any other extreme end of driving.

 

I don't know about you, but I live in Cali. And the only cars they're done "right" (if that) on are old Caddies.

 

That's why the (if that) is there. I still don't think they look good, but they look a million times better on an FG2, that's for sure.

 

I have seen them on old accords or civics. It looks funny. I just laugh at them and sometimes if im bored i laugh and point.
