so which one is the map light fuse? Is it the "interior light" fuse location?
My map (ambient) light is out, my radio lights and a/c etc lights are out, but I can't find a single blown fuse! I was getting annoyed so I stopped checking it. Can anyone assist?

JC

factory or aftermarket headunit?

after reading this list, it's not clear which one is for the cigarette lighter under the radio. I blew that one a long time ago, and am using the one inside the armrest. Can someone tell me the fuse # for the cigarette lighter on the dash. Thanx

IIR, there is one under the hood in the lid of the fuse compartment.

I have an 07 Si. I am looking for an in-line fuse for the rear shelf, specifically for the subwoofer. After disconnecting my battery, it no longer is in the audio system memory (volume control for SW). My dealer told me to look for an in-line fuse back there in the trunk lid area, on the rear shelf. It must be behind the trunk liner, because I don't see any fuse in the harness that's visible. Know anything about this fuse, or its location? Any help would be appreciated. Please send me an email if you can help. THKS

so i figured i would share my experience. blew my #17 (one of the headlights). NO ONE has these low profile minis. I went to pep boys, walmart, autozone etc. they all just looked at me like i was stupid.

someone at honda just gets a kick outta this

Fuse slots #7 and #8 - not used, but are useful

Here is another tip too (use at your own discretion and check with a DMM)

Interior Fuse Panel
Fuse #7 - not used (open) is actually powered always with or without the ignition on (use the lower slot for power from the fuse box, but remember its always on or "hot").

Interior Fuse Panel
Fuse #8 - not used (open) is actually powered on only when the ignition is in the "II" position (engine running) (again use the lower slot for power from the fuse box, but switched by the ignition)

Found this out when looking for a free tap to hard wire my radar detector in and free up the accessory slot for a cleaner look.

I'm sure either of these have many other uses.

BTW - stock mini-ATM fuses will fit just fine, also spares (along with the fuse puller) are in the upper fuse cover in the engine compartment.

I used fuse slot #8 and a mini-ATM fuse tap from Advance Auto Parts to power my radar detector with a 2 Amp fuse - doubtful a radar detector will pull 24 Watts of power  Note: pictures in the link above are without this tap but gives you the idea.

I have not checked the other "not used" fuses (1. they are harder to get too, 2. not really had a need to check them out).

FYI - W

PS: the mounting screw to the right of the fuse box, makes a great ground point as well if you don't want to tear into that mess behind the fuse box to get to the main ground lug.

Accesory power socket

Thanks Unplugged,

one question, It seems the fuse for the accessory power socket got busted when I plugged in a Car charger for my Phone.

I've checked out the fuse panel and could not locate the fuse for the accessory power panel

could you help me on this

thanks
