And they are all mini type fuses? Haven't looked at all the fuses on my Si yet.

Interior Fuse box is all mini's and underhood has some big ones..

The fuse listing is in your owners manual...but its nice to be able to find it here too incase you misplace your manual.

I needed a fuse location last night after blowing my accessory outlet.. so I figured it was a good idea to copy it onto the site :)

I have the 2006 Hybrid and hardwired my XM yesterday. The fuses under the dash are not your normal mini. They are slightly smaller. I had an Add-a-circuit for mini fuses which I was going to use and they were not the same size. Someone in another forum said he could only find the fuses at the dealer.

I finally found the fuses in the 2006 hybrid and they are called "low profile mini".

Did you have regular minis or did you put a replace a low profile mini with a regular mini? Maybe it is just a hybrid thing and the other Civics have normal, I can find them in the stores easily fuses.

either on the harness of the aftermarket radio or if you have a factory radio, there is a wiring diagram if you search for it.

or you can tap it into a 12v accessory outlet.

I did an install this weekend on my Si and used the Interior fuse box Location 8. This location turns on/off with the ignition and is empty.

Ok. So I have a few questions (for those that don't know, I'm terrible with wires and fuses).

Question number 1: When i'm installing my aftermarket fog lights, do I need to put a fuse into the #6 location? And will that only allow my fog lights to work when the low beams are on. (read in another post the guy set it up so they worked with parking lights/high beams/low beams.)

Question number 2: Cecil SI: The slot that is empty, does that mean you can say rig up like a neon. And after the wiring and what not you hook it all up and put the fuse in the #8 spot. So this would mean when you turn on the car the neon turns on and when you turn off the car the neon turns off?

I just got back from Florida, a 2800 mile round trip. I blew the ACC fuse with my cell phone charger (it's bad) and trying to find the fuses was a lost cause until I hit up a dealer. I picked up a hand full of all the sizes in case I pop another one on the road.

You should have seen the guys at Auto Zone when I showed then THAT little puker of a fuse and ask for one! LOL or I would have if it wasn't ME who needed it.

Birdie

BTW I got 41.7 MPG avg with the AC running and moving along at 75 MPH the whole way. I have a LX with the manual.
