When you take off the front bumper, on the actual metal bumper there is a foam cover..... when i recently took off my bumper i forgot to put the foam insert back on... is this a big deal? the fitment is fine

Great place to hide stuff when crossing the boarder. I once fit 3 Mexicans in there!!
Seriously though if it's going to be a pain to reinstall it then just hang on to it incase you ever have it off again.

its to protect the bumper from the metal absorbing beam in a small accident. it would damage the plastic bumper.
