did you put back all the screws in?

 

every single one, annoying clips included...the bumper is flush on the sides, it's just the area beneath the curve in headlight nearest to the grill...I'll get some pics up as soon as my camera starts working again

 

after having removed mine about 10 times, and putting all thee screws and clips back, it goes back perfect. But sometimes, after couples of days, the right side goes down by itself of about 2-3mm......

I don't understand ???

 

mines been out of alignment too since i got a new bumper, ive pulled it off a couple times and it got better but its still off slightly

I believe that the bumper plastic track which are tighting against the steel rail under both headlight are getting slacks....

I bet if you (carefully)closed the gap with a pair of pliers it might help.

Unless that small bracket has actually gotten bent down a little, in that case just push it up closer to the bottom of the headlight about 1/8" and re-install.

I reduce the gap on the track, without a plier, just using my hand and so far it works. But the last time I had this gap under the headlight, it appears only few days later......not right away after I reinstall the bumper.

 

any new fixes about that?

 

Hrrrmmmm... I always just figured it would go back together as it came apart... This will annoy me SEVERELY if it doesn't go back as it came apart... lol

 

you would think it would, but it hasn't...bending the track helped a little, but once again, it comes back once all the parts settle. Getting a new bumper and HFP front and rear eventually so I'm just gonna deal with it for now

 

mine too. Mine is off about 1/8 inch too. Bugs the hell out of me. Gotta live with it. Boo.

 

Seriously, I thought I was the only one to have this. It sucks but doesn't bother me too much! My bumper is already so messed.
