Ok, so I've got a strange problem. (At least strange to me)

I was driving home the other day, and heard a really strange smacking sound. Pulled over and found that the black rubbery molding on the passenger side windshield has come loose and fallen off... It's in my floorboard currently.

Is this something I can easily replace?

Is it a problem that it's missing? (Will water leak into my car now?)

Thanks in advance!!!

Edit - (Unrelated Issue) my TPMS light came on last night, and was on again this morning... my tires are all at the correct PSI... I'm going to go search this one as it seems like something I can Google but any input would be appreciated!

Just had a customer come in with a tsx that had his side molding come off. He needed the 3 clips and molding and came up to be around 200ish. Canadian dollars tho. And it comes painted . Should be cheaper for the civic I think, prob 170ish?

Those moldings for a sedan are about $57 each.

Unless you can find an online seller that offers free shipping, you're better off getting a dealer to price match the online prices.

The custom box these parts will be shipped in is about 8' in length so the shipping alone will be twice as much as the parts.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm just experiencing this issue with my car.

Those who had broken windshield moldings experienced leaks on the interior of the car?
We're having light rain almost everyday here and my local dealer tends to take their sweet time to deliver parts, specially for older models.

You don't need to worry about water leaks. The windshield sealant is what keeps the water out.

The molding is for air flow and appearance purposes on the windshield and as it goes over the roof is only there to cover up the seam.
