Is this possible to do without cutting everything up? Sorta looking for a plug and play. Remove console and knob, slide on boot, install console. I'm thinking the thing that may not work is the plastic ring on the boot.

yes. it's possible. you can order a Si boot and put it on. I think you need to glue it to the bottom console piece but i'm not 100% sure. I've also looked into this but i'm not 100% sure.

Thanks for the link but imo, that boot looks horrible. There's got to be a way to make it look more like the si.

I've seen soo many threads on this. Mine is an eBay boot since I'm too cheap to buy a Si shift boot lol. I cut it too short so it sits too low, meh

Zipped tied it to various places by the base of the shifter level thing. I originally zip tied it to the shifter bezel (the cf wrapped plastic piece around the boot) but then it got in the way of the clips and the bezel kept popping off

I'll get you some pics sometime tomorrow, it's just wherever I could find a loop in the plastic on the base of the shifter that I could attach a ziptie to lol. The knob just hangs there, held on by its own weight.

the boot isn't attached to the shift knob lol, it stays up by itself because well.. that's the shape of it. If you get a shift boot you'll probably have to cut it to make it fit or else there would be too much material, don't cut too much like I did. If I left more material on the shift boot then it would sit higher up and won't show the silver lever thing
