What's your alignment specs? To be honest, you can go lower with OEM wheels/tires and should not be rubbing.

Have you had an alignment done after your suspension install (I'm guessing you had BC racing coils installed)?

Im going for alignment today, but i dont want to go lower and then get alignment and THEN STILL rub, if you kno what i mean?

Can i still run factory alignment specs? Or do I have to have my spec in negative cambers??

 

Tucking the fender liners under the fender, see if that does the trick. It didn't work for me tho but i am on a lot wider wheel/offset. I had to trim off the part of the fender lining that was rubbing against the tire along with fender rolling.

 

I heard of that trick lol, i will try that later on before alignment. And yeahh, stock wheels right now hah.

I also heard of pushing up the fender liner trick too, but kind of clueless on how to do that, metal tab or something?

 

I'm having the same problem with rubbing fender liner and fender. Rubbing mainly during turns. I have to go really slow to not rub. I have a nice cut on the side of my brand new tires on the front... I'm lowered on BC coils and i have 5Zigen GN+ 17x7.5+35 with 10mm spacer up front with 215/45R17 tires. Thinking about changing to a set of 205/40R17 tires to see if that fixes the problem. My alignment is stock spec.

 

Why not just take out the spacer in the front?

 

I have DC5 brembos and wheels need to clear.

My clips are gone and my fender tab is bent up from the rubbing. I think its rubbing against the fender now. My fender looks a bit buckled. I don't want any camber thats why. Can't afford tires.

 

Honestly just take the clips off closest to the bumper and push it behind the lip of the fender. Problem solved. At least with oem spec wheels and tires. Also push up the tabs that the liner clips to. Add camber and your fine. Still wont be able to turn hard and quick but you won't rub other than that. I'm tucking tire in the front and I'm fine.

 

Mario is that both lock rings or just one ?? Yeah you gotta even out. Looks good though

 

Thanks! Its both Lock ring Stuart. I believe its even out now.
All I did was bend the metal tabs with the clips still on, and no more rub!

Maybe one day ill take out one lock ring before next alignment and go from there..I had to take off my bumper to get on the alignment rack

Do I have to get an alignment if i lower the front like another 0.5"?! Some have told me yes, some said no...

 

I'm on the same coils I'm am tucking front and rear and was rubbing the fender liner too so I went lower and maxed the camber out used to rub even more but now it's pretty mucked stop because it wore the fender liner down

I just dropped in buddy club n+ coils and literally the exact same thing is happening to me. I went for about a 2 inch drop. The rear is barely covering tire, no rub back there. But the front isn't lower than the rear like what happened to you and I'm rubbing on tight turns. I wanna drop the front a bit more so I think I'm just going to get my front fenders rolled

 

Hell yeah, my car is actually even all around from fender to the ground though... It's just not evenly tucking the same amount of tires lol

 

Im on +35 17" wheels with 225/45 tires and -1.5 front and -2.5 to -3 in the rear and maybe a finger gap... dont rub anymore, its just plastic and will wear away
