Some low life degenerate piece of **** hit my car in the walmart parking lot last night and just left.. they crushed in the back side of my bumper and scraped a bit of paint off. They also scratched up a little the body panel that's right above the side of the rear bumper. Unfortunately, that thing looks like one big piece that covers the entire side of the car.

I went shopping online and it looks like a new bumper will be $215 from hondapartsdeals (shipped) plus paint and install. Has anyone had to replace a rear bumper yet? How much did it cost in the end? The best quote I've gotten so far is $800.. which seems mighty high (600 for paint and install?).

I'll be the first to say it:

Go ask wal-mart if they have any video of it!!!

Not like it's going to change anything.... Either way, I get nervous going to wal-mart cause the majority of people shopping there and even working there are all low-life scum (and no, I don't feel bad for making that generalization... if you want specific stories to back that up, PM me).

You really should be able to get your bumper painted for ~$200 and you can install yourself so if you can get it for $215 shipped, take it to a good shop who can color-match (they may need to blend it to the existing paint if they're not good).... you should be able to get it all fixed up for cheaper than $800. Pics of damage would be excellent... If it's low enough maybe you can just go HFP and call it a day!
