You should maybe try going with a 8" wide wheel as opposed to 9".

If you do want to go with 9" then it's highly recommended that you do get front and rear camber kits as well as consider doing fender modifications...

 

what about if i do 17's? and if i do 8" what size tires? thanks man kinda of new to this

still going to rub most likely. You should get coils, and a camber kit for an aggressive wheel like that.

 

So 17x9 or 17x8 I would still rub? Even if i stretch the tire

I'm on 17x8" with a +37mm offset with 215/45/17 tires and not rubbing. Going with a 215 wide tire does have a very mild stretch on an 8" wide wheel, but nothing ridiculous.

I can imagine that it would probably rub in the rear because it's the nature of the car to have the rear wheels stick out further than the front... So to be safe I got camber kits; front and rear. Got the rears to prevent the rear from rubbing as I didn't want to do any fender work and I got the fronts because for some reason the car seems to have positive camber and I really didn't like the way it looked.

I'm on BC racing coilovers (not buddy club) with eibach front camber bolts and SPC V2 rear camber arms.

 

I was on 17x9 +22 with 205/40 tires kind of alot of stretch and i never rubbed. I shaved my rear fenders and bent up all my tabs with my hand in the front. No camber kits or anything. I was lowered like 4-5 inches.

It would probably help the OP (as well as others) if you shared your setup in terms of what you have/have done...

Tire size, suspension setup, suspension settings, fender mods, etc...

 

I'm running 215/40s on 18x9 +30, around 2.5" drop, and all fenders slightly rolled.

 

I do have mb weapons on sale that sit nicely with my eibach sportlines, selling for 650$ with tires
