Is this normal, or is there no fix?

 

well it depends on what is going on. The tensioner is going to move during normal operation so that may be what you're seeing. Put a long screw driver on it and see if it's making noise. Video maybe??

loose serpentine belt

Ok I feel liek an idiot. I loosened the belt to check the bearings on the tensioner & P/S pump & I routed the belt per this diagrahm & it is way too loose. I'm stuck. Is this site correct?...

Well, answering my own question , I found out the diagram is wrong. From the alternator, the belt SHOULD go down the front to the A/C pully, around the back of the A/C pulley & up & around the water pump pulley then down to the crank pulley then follow the diagram.

 

Is the timing belt loose at all? Im not sure, im a chick but I know if the timing belt is loose at the bottom, then your tensioner needs to be tightned...

TWorley08, There is a timing chain on the '06 Civic EX. I saw it when I re-gapped the valves. I hate timing belts. The chain will last forever with the conservative driving I do.
