I was never asking you a ******* question you came out of no where and made a statement as if i didnt know that an intake increase airflow I mean wtf? THE PURPOSE OF ENGINE MODS ALMOST ENTIRELY is to create HP, they do this buy helping the engine breathe better. The more air the engine gets the more fuel is sent to burn with it thus creating more horsepower. I dont see what is so hard for you to understand?

I was responding on you saying to another guys post that intake increases mpg and then you contradict yourself somehow and try making a point which was an epic fail, I'm baffled and hope you dont give advice too often.

The ECU automatically adjusts air fuel ratios, thus the purpose of the intake is to increase horsepower by improving airflow. Increased horsepower comes from more fuel burning. More fuel burning = lower MPG.

I still dont understand why you guys attempted to tell me or correct me somehow. Im baffled at the response you guys gave.

Wouldn't an intake or anyother mod to unrestrict airflow decrease mpgs? I mean the more airflow the more fuel you use.

I know stock the max ive hit on the interstate was 35-36 mpg but that was 99.5% interstate, was a roadtrip and gas station was right off the side.
