heat it up then try the goo gone stuff.

 

Try heating it up...and then use a credit card or a spatula (plastic) or anything else that won't scratch the paint, and then scrape the sticker off. Then use rubbing alcohol or bug and tar/ goo gone / clay bar to get the rest of the residue off.
if you don't have any of those products lying around, believe it or not, gasoline works fairly well too

 

peel off, use rubbing alcohol to remove sticky stuff, wax to keep protected.

 

It might be under some clear. Can you feel the ridges?

and while you are using the gasolinwe light a match.....that'll burn the decal right off...lol

 

gasoline does work well, however, it leaves a nasty film that you cannot wax over. you end up using rubbing alcohol to clean that off. why not use rubbing alcohol in the first place

 

the decal is over the clearcoat, i can feel the ridges on the decals. i dont think i can just peel it off. like i said it feels like a dry transfer decal meaning it feels like its been painted on. i had my finger on the decal for a min and the decal started to smear. any more ideas? i'll buy some of this stuff soon before i get the rims put on the car once it stops snowing.

Try to get your hands on some enamel reducer(sp). It will evapotate faster than paint thiner so you would not be able to wear off the clear. Only problem is you have to paint cars as your profession to get it. I would always get by buddy to get me some. Think he would get a gallon for $20.

that's kinda like removing the volk/rays stickers from a set of TE37s... at:

and yea, i know they feel like they're on top but i think they're really under the clear coat(mine feel the same way)... i personally wouldn't try any of those paint thinners or anything like that because it might be too abressive and could possibly mess up the finish of the wheel... leave them alone! =)

well i'm pretty sure its painted on there over the clearcoat. after investigating it, looks like the paint was smeared from the factory and not by me. oh well.
