If anybody wants to get HIR bulbs for their low beams I have found a good and cheaper place to get them besides online. Call your local John Deere dealer. Part number for low beams is AH211917. This is the same Toshiba HIR bulb. Range in price from $10-$13 EACH. They are found on 9000 series tractor. Will still have to get high beam elsewhere.

Well i called my local john deere parts dealer, they don't currently have it in stock, but will in a week or so. Non of the other dealers in this area have it in stock either, they also couldn't confirm whether or not it was a 9012 bulb

but does HIR2 = 9012??

if it is, then i got the right bulb and i'll order it today

Hi, this is the first I've heard of HIR's ... they are adaptable to 9006 outlets?
How do they compare to HID's with the colour and light intensity and how long would i expect them to last?

I got a pair of SIlverstar's from Canadian Tire, one lasted like 2 months, the other 5 months, 55 bucks for the pair.. dissapointed! thanks.

These are noticeably brighter/better than the stock.
Not HID brightness but much better than stock.
Installed the drivers side last night @ 10:30PM after work but did not get the passenger side done.. was late & getting cold.
Took around the block & the HIR was noticeably brighter!
Gonna try to get the pass side done today before work.
They fit MUCH tighter than the stock bulbs.... a PIA to install 'cause they fit so tight!
Ended up filing the base to thin it so it would fit.
