So are you asking does anyone know how to tune their own car with emanage?

I heard the best settings for the si are as below:

HP:+16
TQ: +85
Height: -4
Camber: -2

If you plug in those settings you will run 12's fo sho.






Sorry I couldn't resist. I was feeling like an ass. To answer your question people spend hours and hours tuning on a dyno using emanage. It's not as easy as it sounds.

 

please man, do yourself a favor and leave it for the pro's... Im not being an ass, I just dont want you to blow up your motor. If tuning interests you.. Do it the right way and take such classes, and see if you can find someone who will mentor you.. Probably wont be free, but if your good at it.. should make quite a return. =]

Id say go ahead and start with hondata tuning, since there will be a pretty big uprising. :thumb:

 

The problem with trying to tune yourself is you need some other equipment and you have to know how the jumpers inside the emanage are SUPPOSED to go. The jumper instructions that come with the emanage are incorrect. So if you follow the instructions the emanage will not work right. Imagine that. You will also NEED a scanner that can read your fuel trims in real time. And you need to understand all the aspects of OBDII and all around vehicle operation. You can't just start changing value sin a fuel table and expect it to be ok. Like DevilDoc said, leave it to the pros. Wait for Hondata. Their Data logging is incredible. You can tune the entire car from your bedroom with a few different wot pull logs and some cruising logs. Emanage is a pain in the ass. You have to completely rewire the harness for it to work right in this car.

The benefit of this is, the included PC-based USB "Ultimate Support Tool" allows for even finer tuning capabilities, improved flexibility in fuel & ignition control and adds impressive data-logging qualities to make tuning quicker and easier.

The increased number of input and output ports of the Ultimate, along with new built-in adapters add many new options to the unit. In addition to standard e-manage airflow-based adjustments, the Ultimate version includes new and upgraded features. The Parameter Set-up, tab menu format of the Ultimate has improved direct Map control for adding and subtracting Fuel and Ignition.

The e-Manage Ultimate has the ability to switch between 2 preset tuning Maps (i.e. Street or Race program) via externally mounted toggle switches. There are Maps for Individual cylinder adjustment for both Fuel and Ignition.
