Fog lights for 2007 Si coupe

Has anyone come across an OEM solution for fog lights in an 07 Si coupe yet? They're still not listed as available accessories on Honda's website. The VSA button is in the spot on the dash where the fog light button was, so that's probably the problem right there. But why not just move the control to the headlight stalk like the sedans have? I'd like to keep the fog lights OEM if possible to make sure everything is covered by Honda but I don't want to have to buy a set of coupe fogs and a set of sedan fogs to piece together a working set for the 07 Si coupe. So far my dealership doesn't have a work around.

Sorry to go off topic here but is there any reason why the collegehillshonda dealership says that the Courtesy Light mod only works in the LX and EX models and not the SI.

I agree though.....very nice link!
Probably the same reason why the 06 fog lights won't work in the 07 Si. The fogs and courtesy lights use the same harness or power connection which is why you can't have fog lights and courtesy lights both hooked up without modification or splicing wires. If the 07 Si was changed due to VSA and the old fog lights won't work, it stands to reason that would be a problem for courtesy lights as well. But then again, who wants blue lights in a car where all the lights, guages, and trim is red?

The courtesy light doesn't "work" in the Si because there is already a maplight installed. I'm sure there is a workaround already out there, if not, it would be a very very simple one.

Edit: I'm useless.

Good point about the color....I guess I was thinking you could get it in red all along lol i want to do red and I like the "sutleness" of the OEM option for the addon.

I have been absent for awhile from the forums and I have no clue what VSA is but in the past few days of browsing I have come across its mentioning a couple times but no definition.

Well, you can get around the color. It only comes in blue, but I've seen someone post on vtec.net that they replaced the blue LED light with a red one, but you'd have to do that yourself.

VSA = Vehicle Stability Assist. It's traction control to help you correct yourself if you lose control of the car.

I think the Si coupes cant have the courtesy light kit because the VSA button is in the place where the switch would go. I was reading on the acura site about the TL S-Type and it says that it has red lights in the footwells to match the dash. I dont have an Si but im throwing that tidbit out there for those that do.
