So I have a 08 civic coupe exl. On the front bumper like the one in the pictures, the sides for the fog lights are completely connected to the bumper. Does anyone have any ideal how you put fog lights on them? Cut the circle for them yourself? And what fog lights do you get that fit this? Most of the vids I've seen are SI's and just bolts on. Pls 8th gen family I need some help with this one, car is getting painted.

For what fog lights to get, I looked into getting replacements for mine, which I think came from the dealer because they are integrated really well, however, my Honda dealer denied that fog lights were ever an option for this car. If you want the most integrated option, you can get the kit from your local dealer for about $250 (if I remember right), but you will have to convince the parts department that that part does exist. It should come with a new turn stalk, fog lights, and the necessary harnesses.
Yup, you have to cut them out. That was even the case on the Si if they didn't come with fog lights from the factory. I did mine with a Dremel rotary tool. It still baffles me that Honda molded it all as one part instead of making them pop out. Fortunately they also molded in the screw mounts on the backside of the bumper, so cutting the holes out for the lights are the only hard part of the install.
Geeez what I was afraid of. It's getting painted so I'm putting new headlights and wanna install fog lights as well. A rotary tool isn't such a issue using, but do I cut out just the center hole? Or I guess it matters on the fog lights? Here are the lights I'm talking about.
