Starting August 1st the following rules will be added to the For Sale areas of the site.

Added Rules For Selling

• Picture(s) must be posted of the item including the following: "USER NAME", "DATE", "8thCivic.com" written on it
• Must be separate and actually on a piece of paper, and no photoshop or paint text allowed on top of your picture
• When a member is selling several items or multiple items like wheels are anything that goes in sets. Picture must be taken with each item by itself showing any damage
• Each and every part/cable/component that comes with it is required to be in the photo(s). The exception to that rule would be if the item(s) clearly specify that it is "unopened and sealed from the factory".
• Photo(s) must be included at initial time of posting. No, "I'll post a picture later" excuses
• 
  

Why?

• To avoid members selling things that are not in their possession "I'm selling this, but it wont arrive for another xxx weeks"
• Avoids members taking generic pictures off the net and using them as their own to "hide" something that should be made known
• This pretty much helps stops all the "he said", "she said", that sometimes happens. You see the picture and it'll show anything and everything you are getting with any damage shown
• We get too many complaints about bolts/screws/hoses, or whatever missing from orders.

Current sale postings that were created prior to August 1st must also comply with the new rules. Threads that do not update their post by the 1st will have their threads closed.
