I performed this using help and reading around and wanted to put up a full easy DIY guide that will help you remove and replace your shift knob and boot.

REMOVING your SHIFT KNOB

1. Your shift knob is screwed on so to take it off just place your fingers around the plastic ring and pull down. Dont be afraid that it will break.. its all snap on plastic pieces.

2. Pull down the plastic ring and began unscrewing your shift knob. Clockwise to tighten. Counter clockwise to loosen.

3. Now you can replace your shift knob with another one of your choice :)

REMOVING your SHIFT BOOT

***Find a flat screwdriver and wrap the tip with some duct tape to prevent any scratching while removing the cover.

1. Take the flat screwdriver and insert it on the left side of the console and just wedge it around back and forth and the corners of the box should pop right off. Dont be afraid of breaking anything because all the clips are just clip on pieces.

2. Now that the box is popped off go about and remove the entire thing. *Note. Sorry did these in reverse order when i should have already taken off the Shift Knob.

3. With the Shift Knob and Shift Boot disassembled you are now ready to switch out to whatever you like :) *Note that the flip side of the Shift Boot is screwed in with special screws. You can find this tip at any hardware store or in your toolbox if you have one already. From here, just remove the screws and screw in your new one and reassemble and there you go :)

Hope this helped anyone that had any questions and let me know if you still need help. I DO NOT take any credit for this. I simply found all my answers by searching around the forum. I just created this DIY for the easier searching for whoever needs it. All credits go out to the community of this forum.
