The "K" refers to the engine series
The "20" refers to the displacement - 2.0 litres

8th gen Si's have K20 engines
Non-Si's have R18 engines (R series, 1.8 litre displacement)

 

Yeah it's i-VTEC lol. R18 has VTEC, Si has i-VTEC. But there's supposed to be a cover on the fuel injectors right in front of the engine valve cover that says i-VTEC on it. Must have been removed before you got it.

 

Actually, the R18's vtec is also i-vtec, only it's for economy wheras the Si's is for performance. Just fyi :vtec:

Red H badges are typically found on Honda's Type R cars

 

All 8th gens have vtec.

That is a honda civic SI! You are just missing the cover. You can go get them at the dealership and purchase it.

It's an 09 and I bought it cause I wanted a vtec and needed a car I didn't bother looking under the good I just wanted it too excited and I bought it from a ford dealer ship so idk if I need to go to them or a Honda dealer ship to get the cover

Mod bug- modification bug. Meaning when you start modding your car its so addicting that you just want to add something every time. May it be accessories or power or anything at all.
