For any track time or just street only. Any chance you'll monkey with the settings, or will you have it set and never touch it again?

SPC makes really good camber kits. The quality is quite close to OEM standards.

I will probably set it for street use only and never touch them again unless I get into autox at some point.

I just started my build after paying the car off. Just got new rims rpf1s and tires. Figured I would start at the ground and work into the engine bay last because I am not ready to lose any gas mileage.

The camber needs adjusted and with the new wheels, the camber kits are next on my list. Then I was going with torque dampeners, engine mounts and traction balls.

After that I was going to get tein street advance coilovers with edfc after reading Chris' awesome post about suspensions. Plus I always wanted the edfc.

Then I will be rolling and on to another system.

I was looking at procivic.com and they have a good selection of camber kits with skunk2 being the most expensive and gold might be nice, but I liked the look of the white buddy clubs. I will have to look into the spc.

 

If you have nice wheels like that then you have to get at least the steel SPC rear camber arms. They also make aluminum ones. So agreed. SPC I think is best for you.

 

It's not because you have nice wheels. It's because if you care enough to have such nice wheels as that, you are someone who will want at least something decent on the car. So don't get the ingalls adjusters. The ingalls are good... but a budget item. If you want something at least as good as what is on the car now, then I'd go with SPC rather than an adjustable inner mount that works with the stock arms (which is what the Ingalls is).

What about the front camber? I was thinking about coilovers with a pillow ball mount to adjust the camber, but I think that might be too expensive or should just get adjusting bolts.

 

Front bolts work fine for non track use. The adjustable camber in the coilovers would be the best option if and only if you plan on playing with the settings for track/autox.

I do autox but don't play with the camber since I drive the car everyday.

If you do, the tires you have and the psi they are at go much farther in determining grip.

 

I do not think the camber is adjustable on the tein street advance coilovers because they do not come with a pillow ball mount but the mono flex do, but they are $2200, so probably go with the bolts if I am correct. Does anyone sell the pillow ball mounts for our cars? I have seen them for other cars for about the same price as the rear camber kit $300.

Coilovers have slotted holes on the front struts so the front knuckle can be adjusted. This is what the bolt holes on my KW V1 look like. The top hole is slotted for camber adjustment.

It might just be good enough for your needs at the front so maybe all you'll need with coilovers is a rear camber kit.
