2. progess rear sway bar
3. 50% (mayby 35%:eek:hnoes: , va cops suck!) tint
4. cf hood and trunk

i have money to do all this but im not sure if i should do everything all at once but once again im going to get everything anyways... so what would you do?

waiting on hfp supenesion and exhaust when it comes out, and enkei evo6 18x7.5 (gunmetal) way later

well everthing is on, suspension and sway bar made a big difference, on the way home theres a sharp turn i would usually take at about 15 to 20 mph but i pushed it a lil bit and took it at around 30 to 35 mph, the drop isnt a noticable as other aftermarket springs but i think you could tell the difference on the ride quality, and as for the aem cai i could feel a slight difference when stepping on the gas but im still not used to how loud the engine growls now, im going to have to call aem cause it didnt come with the stickers... thats an extra 5 hp! haha
lol i should put 100 stickers on my car.. there for i would add 500 hp :)...

Yah, coming from a 4runner and a Tacoma, didn't even hafta think when pulling in/out of driveways. But even my friend who has a kit and springs on his rsx says some spots just can't be avoided. For example, an albertsons near my house has 3 entrance/exits and all scrape whichever angle he takes and it pains me everytime we go there with his car :(
yea my old accord was slammed.. and i live in houston.. roads are pretty harsh... but i live up north with smoother roads... theres places where i cant go at alll.. so i take the long way.. but there have been tiems where ive takin an unknown road to my knowledge and hit a bad dip.. end up denting my headers :(....

but as for mods... what im doing for sure
either ground controls or neuspeed 2" drop
progressive sways or SI' rear sway

but whats in progress right now is Hid's 8k so its bright blue like BMW's and HId's plug in play in my yellow fog lights.. at 2k enjoy!

Are people noticing a noticeable power increase with the AEM CAIs or does it just sound nice... or both?

I'm definitely going to purchase an AEM CAI sometime soon. Then I might hold off till next spring to get a performance exhaust and some suspension upgrades. :)

so the hfp suspension and progress rear sway bar are going to be installed tomorrow...

well im still undecided about the cai... the rain and the flooding here in the dc area sucks! if this wasnt my daliy driver i wouldnt have to think twice about it... we'll i'll just have to see if the rain is going to get worse tomorrow.

so i ordered a progress rear sway bar ($147 shipped) and a polished aem cold air intake ($249 shipped)... the sway bar should be here tomorrow and i'll have the intake on later than thursday next week.

debated over the hfs suspension and tein basics for the past two days and i think im pretty much set on the hfs suspension cause it will give me a moderate drop and some better performance and im not to worried about the adjustibility... i called to see if my local dealership could get in and they said it you be around 900 so f that!

really only looking to get tint after all this somewhere around 40% to 50%

now im looking forward to what my daliy driver will turn into...

I am a strong believer in doing suspension before anything else. Well, maybe some misc things at the same time (bulbs, tint, alarm,...). Changing the suspenion of the car, makes your car a completely different beast. Once you get the suspension the way you want, get use to driving the car like that. Become familiar with its limits, then start to add power. You will be suprised how different your car feels when you are taking turns 30+mph faster than you are use to.
^^^^werd...

I was thinking of doing it all at once since it's summer too and I have free time. But after adding up all the numbers, doing all the things I wanna do all at once adds up to about 2k+ and reality started to slap me in the face that I'd be out 2k in parts that I'll never see again lol. But I'm still thinking about it, it's just that I'm having a hard time finding a good shop in the bay area with good prices. This is pretty much my list:

Stuff I wanna do for sure:
AEM CAI
Clifford alarm
Misc - replace horn, silverstars, tail light tint
Rims

Stuff I wanna do but is optional cause I don't have a money tree:
Apex exhaust - full catback
Springs + shocks

I'm seriously considering a weld on muffler because I'm starting to question if 700 bucks for a full catback is worth the extra 3-5 hp.

i want more performance out of the suspension, im placing an order for a progress rear sway bar and aem cai tomorrow. while making a turn at a higher speed than i normally would i felt the rear end lagging a bit so the thicker sway bar should fix that. im the other person waiting to see if the sale goes through on the cf parts (usernames are the same on here or fgcoupe.com or clubcivic.com i've been wanting to ask mod's to change it for me but im to lazy to) at first the other person just wanted the hood he said but i guess he changed his mind...

well then i'll be need to give them a call in the morning cause the honda dealership i went to closest to my house told me they only had it for a si and not for an ex... feel like a tard for asking but there is a slight difference in the suspension between the si and a ex isnt there? was trying to get a seibon hood and trunk off someone selling it on fgcoupe.com but someone might have gotten to it before me so im going ot pass on anything carbon fiber for now and put it toward something else...

I think that person is still selling. He said it was pending the other person, but let him know you want it. I almost bought it off him, but I passed because I just got back from MD. If I'd know I woulda picked em up while I was down there for my bro's graduation, but I'm not making a special trip down there to get them. That's $200 in gas money right there alone. Nah...

I think the whole pillowball/spring/damper setup and suspension travel on the Si is tuned more tuned toward the track and grip on the streets, whereas the EX suspension is tuned more for comfort. Each has one of the other and each has it's limits until the aftermarket is applied. They'll still have limits, but the limits will be much higher. What are you looking for in the suspension? Just a drop? Or a bit of performance?
