@tcc. The shorter the exhaust pipe distance and less restrictions the louder it is! lol S2k's with fender cut outs are nasty. Just like the famous youtube video depicts of "the s2k from hell"

@iivtec may get some more videos sometime soon.

@502 si 19x8 forged wheels (AR Formula 7) and thanks.

That sounds way more rice IMO. There's no way that your tire doesn't get heated. Air coming out of your pipe is 6-8" away from the tire at 300-500 degrees. Of course it's gonna get hot.... you can't defy physics. They put tips at the ass-end for a reason.

Alexandra and I were wondering what happened to your exhaust tip on the way to SC3...this explains it. To call the SK2 exhaust ricey just cause you dont rock it anymore after 4 years of repping it is harsh.

good job keeping it simple!

^^A lot less restriction. I removed about 3 feet long total of piping, a resonator, and also the skunk2 exhaust canister.

In turbo cars lots of pressure build up and you want to get rid of the exhaust as quickly as possible as it helps the engine and also helps to produce more power.

Lots of boosted cars run a side exhaust or an an exhaust coming through a front side fender or even directly through the hood.

Here is a picture of a turbo honda that has the exhaust running directly through the hood.

Loud yes, but very functional.

and here is a nice video with exhaust running through front fender. A little extreme for my likings so I chose to do the less extreme "side exit exhaust"
