No. Just bleed it normally. Take note of the bleed order. It does not make any sense. Search the forums for the correct order. I think it starts with driver's front or maybe passenger front.

You will probably need 2 bottles of the overpriced Honda brake fluid. If you want, return it for money and buy a quart bottle of either DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid from any store of your choosing and pocket the difference.

i think the order starts from the furthest to the closes to the brake buster so rear right then lef then front right then left

 

pass rear > driver rear > pass front > driver front.

That's the conventional order but not the order Honda specifies for the Civic. Looking at my factory service manual right now it says the order is:

1) Front left
2) Front right
3) Rear right
4) Rear left

So that's starting at the driver front and proceeding "clockwise" around the car.

 

pass rear > driver rear > pass front > driver front.

This is weird, I searched for something like that before posting here and didn't find anything. Apaprently ABS is not an issue and yes, the order is driver front and then clockwise around the vehicle.

I wish that I would have read this before I blead my brakes in the conventional manner.

 

it still doesnt make sense. unless they somehow made all the brake lines to each wheel the exact same length.
