Since day 1, my '08 Civic has had this issue. Whenever I use my wipers when it's raining, driving about 40mph+, they will clear and just before they go to the rest position they will splatter water back onto the windshield. And I will continue to wipe it clean and it doesn't go away, it's perpetual.
I have also noticed the newer models have a redesigned wiper assembly. Is it possible to swap those to my car, and will it fix the problem? I don't have the time to take it to the dealer to have it fixed.
I have replaced the inserts many times, so it's not the inserts causing it, possibly the wiper blade is catching water and dispersing it while in motion. Any ideas?
