Due to users abusing the Chat threads, and violating the site rules in them, the old threads have been closed and new ones opened only under these conditions:

  • Posts related to selling items absolutely will not be tolerated.
    Any failure to comply with this rule will result in the member being banned without question, and if this continues to be a problem the thread will be permanently closed and all duplicate threads will be closed as well, with the OP's account subject to administrative actions taken.
  • No street racing posts, no exceptions.
    Don't try to be clever in circumventing the rules either, it's pretty obvious when a racing post is legal or illegal, this includes activities that take place on "closed roads/airstrips" and suggestive locations like at "the track" to avoid confusion provide time slips. If there is any doubt the post will be deleted.
  • Do not argue and bicker.
    This is supposed to be a friendly place, not a battleground. If you have an issue with another member please either take it to PM or notify a moderator so we can mediate the problem and, hopefully, resolve it.
  • Posting any nudity or links to pornographic sites (or sites with pornographic ads) will result in an instant ban, no questions asked.
  • No posts in any language other than English.

  • No discussion of anything possibly related to copyright infringement.
    This is a legality issue, and as such we take it very seriously.

Hey, I know there is a complete thread on the hondata and the cobb tuner i was just wondering if anyone here has bought or known someone who has used them and what their opinion was on it. thanks

I enjoyed that slight break of sunshine this evening. Unfortunately I was on my way back to work. FTL..

So tired. Got lots to do! School, band, prepping for bands show, trying to get my car in order... NOT FUN.

Winnipeg Owners Unite, again, and again!

Anyone on here taking psych at u of m right now? I saw TWO guys in that class on laptops on 8th today.

Hey, I know there is a complete thread on the hondata and the cobb tuner i was just wondering if anyone here has bought or known someone who has used them and what their opinion was on it. thanks
BV1 has tuned with Cobb iirc and a couple guys have flashpro as well... aeotech, jegar...

Why was the other one closed?? I = confused.
all threads that had more than 10k post were closed and new one created.

just knowing how your installs go I think its a perfectly reasonable explanation ;) Anyone else, if we started at 430, we'd be done by 630 and I'd be on my way to softball...

Hahaha. Yeah I know eh. Well, this time the coils are pre-set. I did the research and they're all lined up. I'm gonna have Shawn-o run inspection to make sure it makes sense. Shawn-o has power tools, and most importantly.. Alan will NOT be in attendance. :wigglesmiley:

I run the site in my signature, it has good information, I also have both devices if you need a hand. PM me if you want further info regarding which device is right for you etc.

After making my garage look like a manufacturing plant for more then two weeks the car is back together and running great. Upgrades included:

IPS K2 Cams
Supertech Dual Valvesprings
NST Pulleys installed (finally installed)
RDX Injectors
TC Clips
IM bore out to 70mm
SSR Replica Header
INPRG:: Hand madel 2.5" to 3" Aluminum Exhaust with 1/4 wave noise cancelling.

So far its still breaking in the new setup, journals and springs, so no high lobes (VTEC) have been used yet. But fueling requirements dictate about a 8-11% increase throughout the RPM band on just the low cam alone. The TQ feel of engine seems to follows suite. It feels like an increased displacement of aproximately 10%, I have never run a set of cams that provided such a universal gain throughout the power band. Its incredible how much better the IPS K2 low lobes are compared to the stock cam low lobes.

They also pull about 20% harder at 5000 RPM then the stock low lobes, almost like a VTEC transition has taken place, but it has not yet. Very well designed profile, even just on the iron cores.

should be able to hammer it out by 6:30=7ish. i work till 4 so can be back to charleswood and to your place by 5:15ish g-dawg

I'll pick up some booze. If you wanna swing by at some point before then we can make sure they're set properly so it's all good to go! :dance: Plus I can probably get you from work or something on that day :wavey:
