Hi! I need to replace the side window moldings on front and rear passenger and driver side windows. I think these are also called “belts”. They are literally crumbling. I have found OEM from $50 - $70 each. I have also found all four for $40 on eBay and Amazon. Does anyone have any experience fitting the low priced aftermarket moldings? With winter coming in Michigan I need to replace these ASAP and would rather save money even if I have to sacrifice longevity. So, will the cheap ones work?

I got mine several years ago from the dealer, they were about $25 each, no shipping cost when walking into the dealer, order and pickup... install was rather easy once you figure it out.

I’ve looked online and at local dealerships and found the best price for OEM is $50-ish for each. Local pick up so no shipping. The aftermarket ones seem to be of poor quality so I have decided to splash out for OEM. Kind of expensive but I am more confident they will fit and perform as expected.
