I'm already running R17/215/50 on my Civic (its an Asian model but its the equivalent of the top of the trim Ex Sedan).

The current wheels I have are with a 40 offset. I'm looking at picking up 2008 TSX rims which have a 55 offset. Now I understand that the standard offset is ET45.

My question therefore is whether this new offset will work or not? What impact will it have? I searched but couldn't find anything in particular. I want to know in particular:

1. Will this decrease the space between calipers and rim, or vice versa?
2. Will there be fender rub?
3. Will there be clearance issues when turning left or right?

Thanks for your help!
