if you took a stock spoiler off the civic originally - I would put 100 bucks on NO - it wouldn't bolt up to the same holes. Now, I'm sure you probably could put one (stock civic without holes) on as long as the thing wasn't too wide for the trunk lid.

so the stock spoiler has holes undernieth ? or its just double side taped ?

I found other alternations spoiler when I was driving today
I think the New Mazda MP3 Spoiler and the 1997 Year Subaru 2.5RS Spoiler would fit well on Civic Coupe

spoilers are held on by screws/bolts. There are holes in your trunk lid if you have a spoiler on your car currently. They drill the holes to mate up with the underside of the spoiler. It tightens the spoiler down to you car the more you screw it down.

It doesn't fit on right without modifications and patching up the original holes. I took my ex girlfriends RSX Type R spoiler a while back and test fitted it and the holes don't line up.
