So I'm not 100% sure this is where I should post this, but here it goes...

So today I noticed this dent on my 2008 Si. It's right on the A-Pillar.

First, any thoughts on how I got it?

Second, how much do people think fixing it will cost?

Ah, only 500? I was afraid it'd be more like 1500 since it's the frame.

I work at a high school and there are fields there but I don't know if a ball would dent that section so much. I'm afraid it was a bat or something?

my car got a random dent in almost the exact same spot, mines a little more in the middle of the curve and the paint didnt chip. It appeared while the car was parked in a garage.

I asked a pdr guy about fixing it and he told me because of the airbag behind it he cant do anything so ive just lived with it.

i have a dent in the same spot, but mines actually pretty small... im pretty sure mine was casue by a rock getting kicked up on the highway... but yours seriously looks like a baseball bat or ball hit that... thats huge dude...

piss of any women lately? actually, more like girls, hopefully a woman would know better.

is there a rock chip in the middle of yours? mine is perfectly smooth, no scratches chips smudges or imperfections on mine, not even grease transfer if someone had pushed it with their palm

Haha nope my girlfriend is happy... and also sane :)

Also, there is no chip in the middle, which is why I don't think it was a rock or anything.

It really is huge right? AHHHH what a ****ty day!

Don't worry about the airbags. It's behind the pillar but like what someone said its easy to remove it. I did mine before.

1. If you want to save money try doing it yourself. Remove or move the airbags, use a heat gun and push from the inner pillar.

2. You can also take it to a dent repair place. Im pretty sure its not gonna be perfect but wont be as bad.

3 get it repaired at a body shop. Use your insurance if its more than you deductible (500) in my case.

4. If I didnt have the money and wanted an easy fix.. this would be my best option
Sand the area and use bondo. Sand it and make sure everything lines up.
Get some Glossy Vinyl and use the vinyl to overlay that part

Their are manything you can do but just depends what you want

Guy told me they need to remove the windshield to fix it properly... $2000

He said that if they could do it without removing the windshield it'd be at least $650 because they have to paint the entire panel
