So it's been 6 months and I've only driven about 4500 KMs. I remember asking the dealer when to go for my first (free) oil change, and he said 8000 KMs. I also heard 8000 km / 6 months from some people as well. The engine oil life meter still says 40%.

Should I wait until 15% to set up an appointment, or should I get it changed soon since 6 months is coming up?

i changed mine at 1000 miles...but its a ongoing debate that it si "special oil"...do it whenever you want...but if you go by the oil life meter, make an appointment when it says 15%
