Bent control arm is a pretty good guess. If you're changing it yourself look around while you're in there and make sure everything else looks good, then get an alignment. If you take it to a good mechanic they will check everything for you. If you've never done your struts this is probably a good time. May as well do the ball joint too since there was obviously some trauma

Its probably worth saying that the arm isn't likely to break even though it's bent (yay steel) so if your handling and tire wear are fine this project could wait quite a while without causing and problems
