So I just finished installing my D2 coilovers and took it around the block to investigate some unusual sounds and boom... Wheels fell off completely..fml.

Anywhere you guys recommend to buy new fenders?

Sorry, I don't know where to buy fenders, but the car looks really nice with the g35 wheels.

well, how did the wheel fall off? Actually, I wouldn't say it fell off but it's like something failed inside the wheel well.:think: thats strange man.

ha have professional ppls do the work ? that sucks... always do a walk around and check =\ sucks but i would ask college hill honda.. CHH .com they sell the cheapest stuff for oem honda parts....

I was rushing myself to get out of the shop before they closed. I did forget to torque the lugs.. Let it be known it will not happen again, thats for sure.

It HAD to have been a lack of lug nuts. Look at that road, it's new looking, nice and flat. No potholes, dips etc. Just rolling along and BOOM! The wheel slipped off the studs and the car fell and the wheel got jammed stuck inside. Damn, at: I feel bad.

Man, You know, this could happen to any of us really. Just a simple mistake. A COSTLY one but nobody is perfect.

I always tripple check my torque on the lugs. Like 3 times! After I'm done, I walk around the car and do them all over again. Just to make sure I hear ALL 20 CLICKS!

yeah, i feel jinxed almost too. because the old guy in the shop was talking about how low i was in the front and if i ever got a flat or whatever that it would definitely take my front lip.

im usually really good about checking my lugs.. but i guess this is a costly lesson learned..

Thats one of those :facepalm: AND at: moments where I'd just step out, stare in disbelief for about 1.5 to 2 mins tops, then go inside, get all my belongings out, lock my doors-*or not, who cares anymore*-and just walk away. Just take a bus ride home. I'd be soooSOOO damn pissed at myself. I'm really hard on myself.

ive drove 10 miles back to my house on finger tight lug nuts (on front right doing an oil change) before i realized i forgot to tighten them, and they didnt move at all. not to call OP out, but i find it hard to believe that they were just loose... unless "loose" is hardly even threaded. :shrug:

I kinda did that too when I was adjusting my height on my coilovers. I didn't really tighten them to spec. But didn't wanna tq them down just to go down the street and back home just to test stuff. But they didn't come loose.
