Considering trading in my '06 DX Coupe for an '08 DX-G coupe. I hate the colour of my car :pat: I have 16,000 km's on the car so far.

Trying to figure out the price differential with the $2500? in rebates Honda is offering right now :xyxnervou

I would just check out autotrader.ca and see what cars with similar kms on them are going for...I know theres a book though that tells you how much a car is worth after each year it depreciates from new up to 8 years

I HIGHLY doubt I'll come up with matches of my trim and km range on Autotrader.ca

......and the Canadian blue book costs money.

Yeah, just checked........no DX's on Autotrader.ca

What colour do you want to go for?
Not sure.......bastard silver, white, or ralleye red

Colour is only one of the reasons. I want an '08 DX-G with cruise, keyless/power locks, a/c, and of course a better colour. Undecided on the rims actually.......the hybrid wheels just look strange on a non-hybrid.

Dont waste your time and your money man. I was really close to trade in my 07 4dr sedan I bought in may. I looked up the cheapest sti but in the best condition and I found it. I went to look at it and it was perfect... till I looked inside the interior. There was nothing wrong with it, but I felt like shhh* Im like what am I doing. This car is nothing to compared to my civic. Its basically fast thats it, THATS IT! Whats even worse the guy wanted to give me $15,000 when I paid about 21,000 not so long ago. Hes gotta be kiddin me. Hes giving me this and that he can buy a new si for 18,000. I just got out of there cuz I was wasting my time. Anyways im telling you whatever it is that you want as an upgrade, do it on your own car and the trade wont make it any better. Im wondering if there are people trading their civics for the Mugen.

I don't know how good a white coupe would look with black mirrors and black door handles. Same goes for red. Silver would look nicer, but then again your colour looks the best IMO with the black mirrors and door handles.

As for the hybrid wheels, I am not a big fan of them to begin with, and on the coupes I think they look even worse. Why not go for the LX? I think that if you can live w/o cruise you can even go DX-A b/c that one has A/C/.

I thought yours had keyless, but the old style with the remote separate and not on the key, correct?

Haha don't forget that autotrader is ridiculously overpriced above market.

I've never seen anyone get what is advertised on there. I do see DX-G's but they are "asking" over $20K for it = and with over 30,000 kms. What a joke!

I've also seen ads for Odysseys with less features and more kms than my dad's for like $28k when in reality he was offered $16K. And other cars listed for $16K sold for $6K.

Just take it in for an appraisal to trade, its the best bet really.

If you paid 16K, id say expect to get around $9-10K really.
It lost $3000 or so right off the bat when you took it off the lot, and with a year of ownership, don't forget its a declining balance depreciation - highest in the first year.

If you paid more than $16K, don't forget to take tax and PDI etc out of that equation because people won't pay it.

Well, I'm not even really THAT interested in the A/C........I barely use it in my other car. LX has NOTHING I really want.
