Yo guys. I'm planning on upgrading tires and wheels from OEM stuff, so I was wondering what size tires you guys roll on? I'm thinking of getting something around the size of 215/40/18. What do you guys think....oh yeah '06 Civic LX Sedan just to give the heads up.

18x7.5 = 225/45/18

18x8= 235/45/18

dont go with 40 sidewall...ur going to regret it when u hit a pothole..

i have a 2 friends who were rolling 18x7.5 with 225/40/18 and they both bent their rim on a pothole

Those tire size are too big... That would give an inaccurate reading on speedo...

All right so the thing is that my parents recently bought my car for me and I'm not planning on dropping big bucks on it yet. I do in fact think that lightweight wheels are the way to go, so I'm planning on getting the golden Konig Feathers. I have an atomic blue (kinda baby blue lookin) civic. 225/45/17 is probably the size im looking for right?

If you're planning on going size 17 then 215/45/17 or 225/45/17 will work. :thumb:

If you're talking about an Evo X, then you have the right tire size. We drive a Civic if you didn't know. A 235/45/18 will EASILY throw off your speedometer by more than 3%. That's guaranteed to bring up some problems.

Regarding 18" wheels:
I would stick with a 40 aspect ratio.
