Need a short belt what length do I need to bypass ac compressor?
I didn't look at your profile but I have a 2006 SI and run a PBH6k 514 belt (Pretty sure that is what it is). I could not for the life of me find a 7 rib belt that came in the right length. And I have industrial supply house availability. The go cart guys buy all sorts of 7 rib belts in many lengths. The difference of 20 mm length (ex. 7 rib 510k7) is a no go. And yes I have a serpentine belt tool. Biatch it is!

People will say take a piece of string and measure it but that didn't work for me.

Let me know if you get it figured out. I find my A/C clutches rust to a solid and no removal of a fuse or any such jive will make that clutch release.

udated profile sir. tanks for the info.
Hey JC - hope that helped but I still have to ask if that 2006 Coupe is a SI or not? My SI just had crazy tension on that belt and over 310k miles I have replaced the tensioner pulley multiple times. I have also broken the nut/bolt that holds that tensioner together. A quick trip to the hardware Store and I was back in business. To Honda's credit, that freaking tensioner lived for 310k miles!

Be aware there were some recalls on the belt tensioner.

As the other poster noted, sometimes life happens and it is good to know that you can run to a decent parts place and drive your car home vs. paying for a tow.

Lots of good A/C threads on here. If you have an SI and need A/C clutch parts I will yank mine and send for the cost of shipping and a six pack.

K060512 51.75 inches this belt should work. This is what I ran on my 02. It only comes in a 6 rib which worked for me for years. You may have to adjust 1/2 inch longer or shorter. But if you go to a cool auto parts store they will be able to cross reference belt sizes and try it on the car.
