Hi everyone!.

Do you know what is the ALUMINUM ALLOY of a 2006 CIVIC EX (Automatic). I need to know that because i want to buy a wheel cleaner that doesn't damage the wheels, because the pH of the cleaner, etc.

Also can you recommend me a JUST wheel cleaner?, not a one for "wheels and tires".

Thank you in advanced!.

KIND REGARDS!.

I'm not sure of the alloy used for the wheels but I know that they are clear coated. So if yours aren't too trashed I would at least find a cleaner that is safe for coated wheels. As far as brand goes, Meguiar's is always pretty good. I don't like Turtle Wax so much but that's just my taste.

By the way, if the coating IS still intact and OK, I've actually found that Simple Green works very well at cleaning and shining them up!
