hey all, just got some body work done on my 08 that I have had since new... mileage going in was 57K but mileage out was 93K (?!). Add to that, the TPMS light is on, and the subwoofer levels on the stereo is not showing up... thoughts?

There is a button to the left of the steering wheel that changes the display from miles to kilometers and vice versa. It must of got pushed because 57,000 miles is around 93,000 kilometers. Push it and you'll be good to go!

Check the tire pressure. Are they low? Either the tire pressure is low or you have a bad TPMS sensor. It may go away too?

yep, it was in Km not Mi ... (kinda kicking myself)

Well, the TPMS alert is still there, but that's small potatoes compared to 2x the mileage.

(thanks again!)

The whole repair wasn't just body work (got hit by a taxi, and then a plow when parked during this wretched Winter), the whole front drivers wheel assembly got torn up. New 1/4 panel, door, brake assembly, rim, tire, etc... so I think that that might have something to do with the TPMS sensor... still doesn't explain the sub-woofer thing.

I would go back to shop and see if they can take care of the TPMS light. If it wasn't on before they should be responsible for it. I would ask if they replaced the TPMS unit with a new one and if I didn't get reprogrammed to the car.

Not sure about the subwoofer?

The rim, tire, brake assembly, axle, etc... were all replaced, so it doesn't surprise me that there is an error msg. But yeah, I need to have them check it out.
