Hopefully you used a RainX glass cleaner, not their actual water sloughing product. The directions on the back of that stuff says to SPECIFICALLY use it on a clean window. Again, seriously, clay bar the damn thing, tough water spots will disappear when you claybar.

Bar Keepers Friend is the best for water spots on glass.
its mostly found at hardware stores.

make sure to follow the directions, and don't use it on paint.

It's a putty that removes contaminants/brake dust from the surface of the paint.use it ,you won't regret it,it makes your paint smooth as glass, ready to be polished and waxed.

Pour some vinegar on your favorite towel, then wipe the water spots off. Use water to wash any excess vinegar off.

My car came with a film/water spots over the entire windshield. It is most evident in the morning when dew forms and the wipers try to clear the windshield. It will not come off. Ive tried everything on here with no luck. at this point Im hoping for a stone chip.
