.. so what was the criteria for the nominees for this month's ROTM? Not everyone from the original thread was selected (but should have been according to the original thread). I'm not being sour from not being selected, but just merely curious as to the mechanics of this revision of ROTM.

Dates on the calendar: 1st to 15th of the month

Any member will have the option of submitting their ride with a maximum of:
  1. 2 photos per nominee that can be cycled throughout the month but not supplemented
  2. Modifications list
  3. Link to their own thread
This thread is strictly restricted to these components. There is to be no discussion in this thread whatsoever.

Dates on the calendar: 15th to the last day of the month

members determine a winner based on those who have submitted their ride in that initial thread.
Edit: Since the initial nominees thread was mysteriously removed, I've taken the liberty to quote the original post above.

Just voted, also curious to know how the selection was made.

that was a mistake on my part. Whatever cars are entered will be cut down to 5. The site staff choose the cars they feel should go to the next round. Again, I apologize.

I understand that we're all humans and make mistakes, but I feel as if I've been let down by the community that I've been frequenting for the past year. See, I was under the impression that all of the entries were guaranteed a spot on this month's ROTM (and should be, according to the main post) and thus, I organized a huge professional photo-shoot for this very purpose today (in the blistering cold). After hours of preparation along with fellow members and a professional photographer - this is what I'm presented with.

I'm not usually one to whine about things, but IMO - one of the reasons why ROTM was taken away in the first place was this very reason.

like I said, I made a mistake & I apologized for it.

:eek:fftopic:
Honestly, you don't need to apologize as I had already said that everyone makes mistakes. We've already conceded that it was a honest mistake - the only thing that matters now is if you're willing to make things right again. ROTM has always been a controversial subject here, and small mistakes like these don't necessarily help.

.. as always, I'm just a small potato. I can appreciate that this is your site, and we'll abide by your rules. It's up to you whether or not integrity is a foundation of your staff team.
