Valve Spring Swap

I'm getting PSI IRL Indy Car Valve Springs & Ferrea 7 Degree Valve Locks swapped in instead of my Supertech valvetrain.

My question is if the camshaft actuator / VTC gear & Exhaust gear need to come off the cams, or if they can come out as one whole assembly?
