!!-URGENT-!! VSA and IMA light in '07 Civic Hybrid.

Hey guys!

I'm new here and this is my first post. I recently got myself a '07 Civic Hybrid (Manufactured in Japan but it was imported to the UK. It is RHD).

It has a "VSA" button next to the projector adjustment button. Whenever I press the VSA button (between 2-5 seconds) no light comes on the cluster. I tried to turn it on a lot of times but it still doesn't work. Once again, I hold the VSA button for 2-5 seconds (read it on most threads) but the light or symbol DOESN'T COME ON. One more thing; after 3-5 minutes of driving, the IMA light comes on and stays on until I turn off the engine and restart it. I'm really worried, please help me.

Would really appreciate your feedback! :)

They button (at least in the US) is not meant to be pressed for more than one second. When the car starts, the system (Variable Stability Assist) is armed = light off.

Then by pressing the button (just one time, really quick, pressed like any other knob on the dash) the light comes on, and the system is disarmed.

Is that what happens for you? Idk what holding the button does. It may make crazy things happen!

I've pressed it for 1 seconds, 2 seconds and for the third try; I pressed it for 3 seconds. It didn't work anytime, no light comes on or goes off. I'm new to this hybrid stuff :p Nothing crazy has happened so far. I've tried losing traction by pulling the handbrake as hard as I could while driving but nothing happened. I can't lose traction nor does the VSA light come on.
Any ideas? :/
